France: Agreement reached on forward jobs and skills planning in metalworking
A collective agreement signed in May 2010 promotes the forward-looking management of employment and skills in the French metalworking industry.
The agreement was signed on 17 May by the Uimm employers' association and the main trade unions in the metalworking and engineering industry, which has a workforce of 1.8 million.
