France: Bill to encourage forward job planning

The government has presented a Bill to parliament containing incentives to encourage more businesses to conclude agreements on managing employees' jobs and skills in the event of enterprise restructuring.

The 2007 social security financing Bill contains measures designed to encourage enterprises to consider more alternatives for employees who may lose their jobs as a result of restructuring.
