France: New government's programme

Following the elections to the national assembly of 9 and 16 June, the new social affairs minister, François Fillon, has outlined key issues in his new programme and announced a series of talks with the social partners, aimed at promoting dialogue.

On 20 June, Mr Fillon announced his intention to set up a series of talks with the social partners, in accordance with his wish to promote an active and fruitful dialogue.
