France: Pay freeze agreed at GM plant
Workers at a General Motors plant in Strasbourg, France, agreed in July 2010 to a two-year pay freeze and increases in working time in order to safeguard the site's future.
In 2008, General Motors (GM), the US-based automotive multinational, was facing bankruptcy and attempted to sell off a number of assets.
