France: PSA Peugeot Citroën agrees increased flexibility
Management and trade unions at PSA Peugeot Citroën reached a deal on 8 September 2010, whereby labour flexibility will be increased at the automotive group's French manufacturing plants and the company will recruit an extra 900 staff before the end of 2010.
The agreement expresses a shared acceptance that the future of PSA Peugeot Citroën's French sites, and of employees' jobs, depends on continuous enhancements in competitiveness.
