Germany: Collective agreement signed at Volkswagen
The IG Metall trade union and the Volkswagen automotive group, which employs 95,000 workers in Germany, concluded an agreement on pay, training, and retirement on 28 September 2009.
Under the agreement, all employees will receive a lump-sum payment of €510 to cover the period from August to December 2009.
