Germany: Deutsche Telekom introduces women's quota for management posts

Deutsche Telekom AG, the formerly state-owned German telecommunications company, announced in March 2010 a policy whereby 30% of its middle and senior management positions worldwide will be held by women by the end of 2015.

Deutsche Telekom, in which the state and state bank still hold a 31% share, employs 257,000 staff worldwide, 130,000 of whom are in Germany.
