Germany: Minimum wage agreed in postal sector

Following the establishment of an employers’ association for postal services, a minimum wage for the sector has been agreed by the new organisation, Arbeitgeberverband Postdienste, and the services trade union ver.di. The agreement currently covers the 200,000 employees in the association’s member companies, but the government plans to extend it to all employers in the industry.
