Germany: Siemens confirms employment guarantee until 2013
The Siemens engineering group has signed an agreement not to close any German sites before 2014, and to avoid compulsory redundancies as far as possible.
The agreement was signed in late September 2010 by Siemens management, the IG Metall trade union and the Siemens group works council.
