Germany: Single minimum wage agreed for temporary agency workers

In October 2010, the main employers' organisations representing German temporary work agencies agreed on a single minimum wage rate for all workers in the sector, which could now be made legally binding.

Legislation came into force in 2004 requiring equal pay and equal treatment in key areas between temporary agency workers and the employees of user companies.
