Government wants more older people in work

The Government has set itself the target of getting an additional 1 million people over the age of 50 into work. The policy is a key part of a strategy paper, Opportunity Age - Meeting the Challenges of Ageing in the 21st Century, outlining the social changes required to cope with changing demographics and is currently out for consultation*.
