Greece: Hospital doctors strike
Doctors at state hospitals in Attica and Piraeus staged five days of industrial action in mid-January 2007 to protest at the government's delay in introducing shorter working hours, as required by the EU Directive on working time (2003/88/EC). Hospital doctors in other regions staged a 48-hour strike.
