The third and concluding stage of a three-year deal negotiated by the Heating and Ventilation Contractors' Association (HVCA) and Amicus has increased industry rates for 30,000 craftsmen and manual workers by 5.1%, with flow-through rises in responsibility and daily travelling allowances. The premium rate, used to calculate overtime payments, also rises in line with the general award.
