Department store House of Fraser has awarded a 2.5% basic pay increase to 8,800 store staff and head office employees, effective from 1 April 2006. This takes the minimum hourly rate for a sales adviser on the company's training grade in the provincial pay zone (zone E) from £4.98 to £5.18.
