HSBC Bank: Merit awards up to 6%
HSBC Bank has awarded its 30,000 clerical staff merit rises of between nil and 6%, effective from 1 April 2000.
Under the terms of this year's settlement, implemented with the agreement of the finance union UNIFI, pay scales for the most junior clerical grades increase by 3%.
