HSE warns employers to check fall-arrest equipment
The HSE is warning employers and workers that some types of equipment often built into fixed access ladders to protect against falls may not be safe.
Users, safety professionals and enforcing authorities have been expressing concern about the design and use of vertical, rigid anchorline fall-arrest systems as a result of several incidents in Europe.
