In the second year of a two-year pay and conditions agreement negotiated with Amicus and the Transport and General Workers' Union, Slough-based ICI Paints has awarded a 3.1% basic pay rise, effective from 1 May 2006. The review is based on an increase equivalent to the rise in the headline retail prices index over the 12 months to April 2006 (2.6%), plus 0.5%.
