ICI Paints awards 3.3% pay rise

    A pay and conditions agreement negotiated between Unite and Slough-based ICI Paints has resulted in a 3.3% basic pay rise, effective from 1 June 2007.

    As a result of the 12-month deal, shift allowances are improved by 12.28%, and are now as follows:

    • three-shift continuous and night shift - £7,212 a year;
    • three-shift, non-continuous - £3,550 a year; and
    • two-shift, non-continuous - £2,526 a year.
