International: AXA revises EWC agreement

AXA, the France-based financial services multinational, signed a revised European Works Council (EWC) agreement on 29 June 2009, reflecting recent amendments to the EU Directive on EWCs, along with a set of Europe-wide principles on social dialogue.

AXA has some 79,000 employees in Europe, with its main operations in France, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
