International: Framework agreement signed at WAZ
In July 2007, WAZ, a Germany-based media group, signed a "framework agreement" with the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ)/European Federation of Journalists (EFJ). As well as dealing with “sound industrial relations”, the international agreement covers "the defence and the promotion of press freedom" and "quality journalism".
