International: Fresenius agrees involvement arrangements and becomes an SE
In July 2007, Fresenius, a healthcare multinational with a worldwide workforce of 107,000, converted into a European Company (Societas Europaea, SE) incorporated at European level on the basis of the EU’s European Company Statute. It had earlier signed an agreement on employee involvement in the SE with a special negotiating body (SNB) of employee representatives.
