International: ILO agrees "global jobs pact"
Governments, trade unions and employers' organisations from around the world agreed a "global jobs pact", aimed at tackling unemployment, at the International Labour Organization (ILO) in June 2009.
The ILO held its annual conference in Geneva on 3-19 June, bringing together representatives of governments, employers and workers from 183 countries.
