Ireland: National pay talks under way
In April 2008, the Irish government, trade unions and employers launched formal negotiations over a new national pay agreement, which look set to be protracted and difficult.
The talks aim to reach a new pay settlement within the framework of the current “Towards 2016” national partnership agreement.
