Ireland: Nurses vote on pay and hours proposals

Members of the Irish Nurses Organisation (INO) and the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA) were voting in late May 2007 on proposals to resolve a seven-week dispute over increased pay and a shorter working week.

Members of both unions have been engaged in a series of work stoppages in furtherance of a claim for a 35-hour working week and a 10% increase in pay.
