Ireland: 'Qualifying' year before Romanians and Bulgarians are free to work

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment has announced that Romanians and Bulgarians will be free to work in Ireland without a permit, once they have completed 12 months’ work with a valid permit.

This means that Romanians and Bulgarians who arrived during 2006 to work legally will be able to work without a permit when they have completed 12 months from the date they arrived.
