Ireland: Review group calls for Employment Appeals Tribunal reform

In June 2007, a government-appointed review group recommended that the procedures of the Employment Appeals Tribunal (EAT) be significantly reformed.

The EAT is one of Ireland’s employment rights bodies and its principal function is to determine disputes arising under the legislation on minimum notice periods, redundancy payments and unfair dismissals.
