Italy: Agreement signed in chemicals sector
A three-year collective agreement was signed in the Italian chemicals industry in December 2009, providing for an average monthly wage increase of €135 for the sector's 200,000 employees.
The agreement was signed on 18 December by the sectoral trade unions affiliated to the three main confederations - Filcem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl and Uilcem-Uil - and the Federchimica and Farmindustria employers' organisations.
