Italy: Agreement signed in electricity sector
A collective agreement signed in the Italian electricity industry in March 2010 provides for substantial pay rises as well as introducing new strike rules and employee safety/environmental representatives.
The three-year agreement was concluded on 5 March by employers' organisations and the main sectoral trade unions, Filcem-Cgil, Flaei-Cisl and Uilcem-Uil.
