Italy: Collective agreement signed in banking
After two years of negotiations, on 8 December 2007 a new national collective agreement was signed for the banking sector, which has some 330,000 employees. As well as providing for pay increases, the agreement contains provisions reflecting recent major mergers and acquisitions in Italian banking.
