Italy: Collective agreement signed in mining sector
A new collective agreement was signed for the mining industry in late September 2008, providing for an average monthly pay increase of €107 over two years and dealing with matters such as outsourcing and health and safety.
The agreement was signed by the Filcem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl and Uilcem-Uil sectoral trade unions and the mining industry employers’ association, Assomineraria.
