Italy: Collective agreement signed in textiles industry
On 11 June 2008, the sectoral employers' organisation and trade unions in the Italian textiles industry signed a new collective agreement covering more than 500,000 employees and 58,000 companies.
The agreement provides for an average monthly pay increase over two years of €94 (the unions had demanded €95) and a lump sum of €114.
