Italy: Pay agreement reached in food industry
A pay agreement was signed in the Italian food industry in September 2009, providing for average wage increases of 7% over three years for the sector's 450,000 employees.
The agreement was reached on 23 September by the Federalimentare employers' association and the sectoral trade unions affiliated to the three main confederations, Flai-Cgil, Fai-Cisl and Uila-Uil.
