Italy: Radical changes in working practices agreed at Fiat plant
An agreement signed in June 2010 at a Fiat plant in southern Italy provides for major changes in working practices aimed at boosting productivity, in exchange for new investments to prevent closure of the site.
In April 2010, Fiat, the Italy-based automotive multinational, announced plans to increase production and make major investments in its home country.
