Italy: Strike planned in private healthcare sector
Trade unions representing private sector healthcare workers have called a nationwide strike for 18 September 2008, demanding the conclusion of a new sectoral collective agreement three years after the previous accord expired.
The protest action in September will, in particular, target three employers’ organisations representing private hospitals in particular: Aiop, Aris and Fondazione Don Gnocchi.
