Italy: Tensions rise as Fiat decides to produce new model in Serbia
Fiat announced in July 2010 that it will produce a new model of car in Serbia, rather than Italy, as a reaction to mounting industrial relations problems in its home country.
In April 2010, Fiat, the Italy-based automotive multinational, announced plans to make major investments in its home country and double its production there by 2014.
