Italy: Unions and Milan local authorities sign deal
On 21 February 2007, the mayor of Milan, Letizia Moratti, and local representatives of the Cgil, Cisl and Uil trade union confederations signed an innovative agreement. The accord establishes four standing negotiating bodies on key local issues such as the labour market, innovation, welfare and publicly owned companies.
