Italy: Vocational training guidelines agreed

In February 2010, the Italian Government, regional authorities and social partners signed an agreement setting guidelines for vocational training during 2010, which include a focus on workers who have been made redundant or are on short-time work.

The accord was signed on 17 February 2010 by the Government, regional administrations (which have significant responsibilities in the training field) and the main national employers' organisations and trade union confederations.
