Italy: Vodafone workers strike over outsourcing
Trade unions organising at the Italian subsidiary of Vodafone called strikes during October 2007 in protest against a management decision to outsource the work of some 900 employees.
Vodafone, the UK-based telecommunications group, employs around 4,600 workers in Italy.
