Jaguar: 3% pay rise in second year of two-year agreement

In the second stage of two separate two-year deals, Jaguar has awarded a 3% basic pay rise to its 4,914 hourly paid employees and 3% for 1,001 A-C grade staff, effective from 1 November 2005. The second year of the deal was agreed to award an increase worth the higher of 3% or the October 2005 retail prices index (RPI) which, in the event, was 2.5%.
