Judge jails director for manslaughter
The managing director of a heating and ventilation installation and repair firm has been jailed for 12 months after he was convicted of the manslaughter of an apprentice burnt in an explosion at a boat yard.
The incident occurred on 3 February 2003 in Plymouth at a boat yard owned by Princess Yachts International plc.
