LG Philips Displays, Durham: 3.4% across-the-board increase

LG Philips and Amicus have agreed a 3.4% across-the-board increase in basic rates from 1 January 2005 and an additional 2% for team leaders.
In addition, the company agreed a 4% increase on shift allowances, of which there are two levels:
Crews 1 and 2 work Monday to Friday and attract normal premiums for overtime; and
Crews 3 and 4, who work in a shift pattern that includes working at weekends, are on annualised hours contracts where all hours worked are paid at a flat rate until they exceed 1,872 hours per year.
