The 2003 Metropolitan Police pay award,
covering both industrial and non-industrial support staff, gives all staff a 3%
minimum increase from
The agreement included the re-alignment of lower-grade pay bands, which means that employees in these grades receive an additional 1% rise, and the number of steps in the lower pay bands has been reduced (from February 2004) in order to shorten progression times.
