MHSW "mess" leaves employers and their employees at risk of being sued by public
Recent changes to health and safety legislation mean employees now face paying unlimited damages if they do not speak up about health or safety risks at work, according to a report by the charity Public Concern at Work (PCaW)1.
The charity warns employers that they too face being sued by members of the public if their employees do not warn of health and safety failings, even though this was not the government's intention when it drafted the legislation.
