Narrow fabrics industry workers: 2.7% rise

Following negotiations between Community, the GMB and the Transport and General Workers' Union and the British Narrow Fabrics Association, a pay award has been agreed covering operatives working in the narrow fabrics industry. The 12-month agreement provides for a 2.7% increase to all piece rates, time rates and overtime rates from 1 November 2005.
