New Armed Forces Pension Scheme from 2005
The results of a consultation exercise on a proposed new pension scheme for members of the armed forces have finally been published, five years after a review into pension arrangements for the services were first announced. A new Armed Forces Pension Scheme (AFPS) will be opened to new entrants from April 2005.
