New pension ministers in place
In the recent government reshuffle, David Blunkett has taken on the mantle of Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. He replaces Alan Johnson, who is now Secretary of State at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Stephen Timms has taken over from Malcolm Wicks, who has also moved to the DTI, as Minister of State for Pensions.
