A new three-year pay deal has been agreed at newspaper printing and publishing organisation News International, effective 1 July 2003. Around 3,900 staff at the company's sites at Wapping (London), Knowsley (Merseyside) and Kinning Park (Glasgow) are covered by the new agreement, which, in the absence of a union, was negotiated with the News International Staff Association (NISA).
