Norway: Single agreement reached for drivers

As part of the 2006 collective bargaining round (EER 390 p.30), the social partners in the transport sector agreed to negotiate a single agreement to cover bus and coach drivers in the private sector and in companies formerly owned by local authorities or central government. It was also agreed that the drivers' pay would be increased to the same level as that of manufacturing workers.
