A 12-month pay award, giving an average increase in earnings of 3.75% and worth just under 3.5% of the paybill, has been agreed at Ofsted, the inspectorate for children and learners in England.
The pay award covers two separate bargaining groups: administrative staff and those early years' inspectors who have transferred from local authority employers, who received their award from 1 April 2005; and HM inspectors and managers, who received a pay award from 1 August 2005.
