Podcast: "Radical" employment law reform; and employee engagement
On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we focus on the employment law proposals unveiled by the Government last week, which it described as "the most radical reform to the employment law system for decades". We are joined by special guest, employment law expert and consultant editor, Darren Newman, who shares his thoughts on various proposals, including: "protected conversations"; employment tribunal fees; financial penalties for employers; and no-fault dismissals for micro-firms. We also discuss the findings of the 2011 XpertHR survey on employee engagement.
Presenter Jeya Thiruchelvam is joined by Darren Newman and Noelle Murphy. Edited and produced by Luke Smith.
